Premium Photovoltaic Modules

Schuco Premium modules have a surface area of 2.69 m² and fit into the Premium system. This means that there are a total of six installation options (on-roof, flat-roof, in-roof, whole-roof, canopy and façade) and they can be easily combined with Premium collectors, hot air collectors and roof windows within a system. The large surface area gives them an attractive look as well as achieving outstanding performance values up to 350 Wp per module. The Premium system is particularly suitable for ambitious concepts, e.g. energy plus and zero energy houses. The Schuco Premium modules have a positive performance tolerance – each Premium module achieves or exceeds the specified performance values under standardised test conditions. The module frames are anodised in silver or bronze or alternatively can be colour coated in any RAL colour.

Performance & Maintenance

  • Weather - All panels are weather resistant when installed with Schuco support systems.
  • Biological – PV panels resist algae and moss growth when installed at optimum angles of inclination, but can be easily cleaned if required.
  • Pollution – Modules and module performance are unaffected by general atmospheric pollution.
  • Light – PV modules are UV resistant.
  • Electrical – Electrical output of a Schüco PV module varies from 190-350 wp for standard PV modules. Output of bespoke Thin Film is dependent on design and cell density.
  • Durability – Performance output is expected to be for at least 25 years.
  • Cleaning – Schuco modules can be cleaned in the same way as standard building glazing. In general, PV systems are self-monitoring and operate automatically.
